About Us

My name is Dana Burgess, and I have been involved in music recording and production for over 25 years.
When I started dBSoundProLive as a live event production company, I thought about the things that I have experienced over the years in the various projects in which I have been involved. Most gigs we supplied our own sound and lights, but sometimes this was done by a person or company outside of the group.
And for the events where we were not in charge of sound, it was not always a great experience. Most of the time we were blessed to work with very competent individuals who listened to our needs and provided a great experience for us and our audience. Sometimes, though, not so much.
When your sound is in the hands of someone else, someone you haven’t worked with before, it’s always a bit nerve-wracking. You hope that the person has your interests at heart, but if not, you could be in danger of leaving the wrong impression with your crowd. After all, IT’S YOUR SOUND.
